David Moyes OddsDavid Moyes’s future is up for bets at giant bookmaker PaddyPower. David Moyes ended last season, most probably, at the lowest point of his managerial career. He managed Sunderland in the Premier League, unfortunately leading them to relegation. He resigned from his position a day after the Premier League season came to an end.

David Moyes Managerial History

His managerial career had started with two successful spells. First he managed Preston North End for four seasons during which he got the side promoted from Division Two to Division One. In his final season with Preston he got close to getting the side promoted to the Premier League as they missed out only after losing in the First Division Play-off Final against Bolton. His next managerial stint was at Everton where he stayed for eleven seasons. During all those years David Moyes was praised both for his sides results on the pitch and also for his ability to develop players.

Success at Everton led to David Moyes being selected to take over the throne of Alex Ferguson as Manchester United’s manager. His experience at Manchester United wasn’t a positive as his stay with the side was cut short. He didn’t manage to even finish the season at Manchester United as the side was distant from a Champions League spot and got knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter finals.

David Moyes bounced back to manage Spanish side, Real Sociedad. In his first season he managed some positive results and definitely met expectations. His second season wasn’t that positive as after a negative run he got sacked in November 2015. After a stop of almost nine months he joined Sunderland, as mentioned above.
